the holiday of the fun sized candy bars.

yesterday was halloween and my second time trick-or-treating ever. yes, ever.
we started the week off by visiting the pumpkin patch for a total of 20 minutes realizing it was time to go once annabella found a little pumpkin, threw it on the ground, kicked it and yelled, "GOAL!".
halloween itself was just about what i had expected it to be. a great night with friends, annabella not having a clue as to what was going on- she would occasionally grab candy from a bowl and put it in other kids bags. one of my favorite parts was probably that she dressed up as the tin man and the fact that husband has only lived in america for eleven years and didn't know who the tin man was. as we walked door to door hearing, "oh, how cute! she's the tin man", he would leave in amazement saying he couldn't believe he was the only one who didn't get it.
baby oliver was so cute he didn't need a costume
overall it was a great night. our first official walk around the block in our new neighborhood since moving! so thankful for the friends that joined us!

happy "haween"
